It’s a fact that a girl can never have too many bikinis! And despite sunny old England only squeezing out a few days worth donning a two-piece for each summer I can’t resist building up my swimwear collection when something pretty and unusual catches my eye. It was love at first sight for me with this beautiful argyle print bikini from Zaful and it makes a very welcome addition to my kini-collection.
When it comes to bikinis there are so many fashion rules and tips about dressing for your body shape and type, but I pretty much ignore them all. If something fits me then I wear it and if I like it then I buy it. We should never feel inadequate, uncomfortable or embarrassed in our own skin. I have large breasts and wide hips yet I still wear strapless, halterneck’s and tie string bikinis just like every other woman on the beach. So long as you are happy then that’s all that matters, so rock on and enjoy yourself!
Here I am wearing a size Small and I love how bright and colourful this bikini is with tiny pink and blue flowers surrounded by geometric bursts of pink, yellow, orange, white, purple and navy blue making it super easy to accessorise on the beach. The fixed-size bra features removable padded cups which I have taken out in order to squeeze in my ample bust, and the strappy racerback detail is adorable. It gives me far more support than a triangle bikini top and also helps to minimise bounce which makes it pretty ace for a spot of beach volleyball!
The bikini bottoms follow on with the same stunning print and have adjustable side ties to fit a variety of dress sizes, I’ve tied mine into a side bow with a double knot to be extra secure, but it would look equally pretty as loose string if you like the boho look. This bikini looks wonderful with a light tan and really brings out the blue of my eyes, I’d accessorise this on the beach with a pair of cork wedges and a large straw sunhat and wooden bangles. A pretty summer bargain from the incredible Zaful!
